Earlier in the day the first two GTTC champions were crowned with [TDRT]R.Kolz winning the GTR class with his 3rd place in the race. The Turbo class champion was spdoFiredUp proving his skill in multiple classes. Full race results can be read here.
19th February 2008: First GFC win for FPR | Matze78
^P^Storm Cloud was beaten into 2nd place by 22 seconds as FPR Matze takes his first GFC win at South City with a fastest lap along the way. spdoFiredUp took the final podium spot in the FO8 class. spdo.define. appears to be in the winning habit now in the FOX class with 3 wins out of four races. This begs the question, can anyone touch him for the rest of this season? Newcomer ORT• R.v.Buren took the second place in his first GFC event which will make things even tougher for the other top FOX drivers such as [DR] Alain Lang who took the third place with yet another strong performance. There were also some other notable performances in the FOX class with battles up and down the field throughout the race. Full race results can be read here. In the GTTC race spdoFiredUp made it three wins in a row in the TBO class and H.Vuorinen took his first win in the GTR class. This competition really seems to have bedded in now and it's clear the two classes are understanding each other much better having had three previous races sharing the piece of racetrack. Full race results can be read here

^P^Storm Cloud got his second win in a row in the FO8 class 23 seconds ahead of spdoFiredUp. ^P^Adamski got the final podium position completing two less laps than the front two drivers. R4RStorm Cloud got the result he was looking for after his disappointment at Aston with a strong win in the FO8 class. A minute down the track was Matze78 in second place which sets an extremely positive tone to the start of his GFC career. The final podium spot was taken by R4R again with Adamski who has proved a consistent performer in recent races. In the FOX class it was spdoDefine's turn to take the win with Alain Lang in second place and now leading the championship overall. In 3rd Lateralus got his best result in the GFC so far with a very consistent drive. It took to the final race of the season to decide the champions beyond doubt in both classes in the inaugural Gentlefoot Formula Challenge. The pre-race favourite R4RStorm Cloud had retired from 4th place on lap 60 with a technical fault leaving Tob the only one of the top 3 FO8 drivers able to collect the bonus for finishing at least 10 races. Tob drove to a solid 4th place finish allowing him to snatch the crown right at the last minute and become the first FO8 GFC Champion. spdoHuppis won the race with a 28 second lead over spdoFiredUp who seems to be enjoying the superior performance of the FO8 again. [DR] Leprekaun took the final podium place in the FO8 class in only his second race in the GFC. The FOX class was virtually decided before the round started with Gentlefoot having a substantial lead over nigelpm in 2nd place overall. He clinched the title with a 3rd place in the race behind spdo.define. and [DR] Alain Lang who won with an almost impeccable drive. Rookie of the Year in the FO8 class was decided months ago with Adam5k1 having a huge lead over his rivals. The FOX class was a closer run thing but nigelpm took it by 9 points over count.bazley in the end by making sure of his finish at Blackwood. 13th November 2007: New GFC Video Produced A Video is now available with highlights of this season and an introduction to the top drivers. The final podium position in the FOX class on Sunday was decided following an immense battle between James Barrington and Lateralus that went on from lights to flag. Separeted by not more than a few seconds the whole race eventually it was James who collected the silverware. Another dominant win for .define. who, with an astonishing fastest lap of 1:38.78 finished half a lap ahead of Gentlefoot in seond place. In the FO8s Huppis and Storm Cloud led the way with Huppis finishing a clear winner in the end after Storm's risky no stop strategy ended his chances with a popped tyre. Tob took the final podium position with another consistent performance. The final race in two weeks will decide the championship final standings with everything to play for still in the FO8 class and 2nd place in the FOX class extremely close 22st October 2007: No DNFs at Aston
In contrast to the last LFS race every car that left the grid saw the chequered flag at Aston Grand Touring yesterday. Spdo were in dominant form as they swept to victory in the FO8 class and took the top two positions in the FOX class. Huppis was very fast here although R4RStorm_Cloud kept him honest for much of the race. FPR|Tob took the final podium position in the FO8 class. FiredUp was untouchable in the FOX class and he was followed by his team mate .define. in second who took the place from [DR] Alain Lang during the stops, Alain taking the final podium place in the class.

A race that initially looked like a promising fight between some of the top GFC drivers turned out to be a disaster in the end. There were only 15 cars on the grid for this race and by the mid point of the race there had been 6 drivers retire. However, in the closing laps there were 4 instantaneous disconnections leaving only 5 runners left. NoGhost was negotiating the last coner in the lead of his first GFC race (following Storm_Cloud's disconnection from the lead) when he suffered the same fate and disconnected. In the FOX class the two front runners FiredUp and Gentlefoot also suffered the disconnection leaving only 2 drivers left in the class. In the end only Tob and Flip completed the race. This result now leaves R4R leading both FO8 and FOX classes with Storm_Cloud moving into the lead in the FO8 championship.

The GFC championship was kept alive in both classes today as the championship leaders failed to get the results they needed to seal it.
